Bacon Salt Recipe: Bacon Salt and Egg Biscuits
Bacon Salt recipe of the week, breakfast edition. These tasty egg and cheese biscuits are delicious no matter which flavor of Bacon Salt you use.
Bacon Salt and Egg Biscuits
- 8 eggs
- Any flavor Bacon Salt to taste
- 1 cup cheddar, parmesan or sliced American cheese
- 2 cups buttermilk biscuit mix
- 7 tablespoons water
- Green onions (optional)
Mix biscuit mix and water until blended. Place on a lightly floured surface and knead gently. Roll out to 1/2″ thick, and cut in 3″ biscuits. Place on an ungreased baking sheet, and bake at 425 degrees F for approximately 10 minutes until golden brown. While the biscuits are cooking, mix the eggs with the green onions and Bacon Salt and cook in a greased frying pan. Split the hot biscuits, add cheese, eggs and green onion, and serve with an additional sprinkling of Bacon Salt.
